Sasan Gir Tourism

Sasan Gir Forest is today the only place in the world outside Africa, where the lion can be seen in his natural habitat. The forest also harbours a variety of smaller animals and birds. Other predators are the Panther and the Hyena. The Indian Deer, Sambar, Chital (spotted deer), Nilgai (blue bull), Chinkara and the Chowsingha (four horned antelope) are found here, alongwith the bear and the long tailed langur.


Season:
The Sanctuary is open to visitors from Mid October to Mid June, While during monsoon months the Sanctuary remains closed.Permission to visit the sanctuary is given by Forest Department, Sasangir on arrival.

Nearest airport Keshod is connected with Bombay.


By Rail:
Sasan is the railway station, on the meter-guage line. However, the most convenient railhead is Junagadh (65 kms).


By Road:

Day 01 : Arrival in Delhi

In the early morning you will be picked up from hotel and transferred to the New Delhi Railway Station to board super fast AC train to Agra, the city of Taj Mahal. Day 04 : Jaipur

You will visit today attractions like City Palace, Albert Hall Museum, Gardens, Govind Dev Ji Temple, Akshardham Temple, Birla Temple, Hawa Mahal, Jal Mahal, Jaigarh Fort, Jantar Mantar, etc. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.

  Day 05 : Jaipur - Delhi

Day 08 : Shimla - Kufri - Shimla
Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel. Later take excursion trip to Kufri. It is only a 30 minute drive from Shimla. It is known for exceptional nature beauty. It offers beautiful sights of snow-capped mountain peaks, copious nature beauty, rich flora & fauna and more. It is the place where you will find great feast for your eyes. Day 09 : Shimla - Delhi (Departure)
